Start Early

I cut my grass between snow storms this past Friday.  In fact, I de-thatched it too and got 6 full bags of clippings.  A greens keeper told me that’s the best way to get a lawn greening up early.  It works.

Starting early works with other things too, like exercise.  If you’ve got kids, get them into the habit of being active right from the start.  It’ll pay enormous dividends over their lifetime.  The same goes with eating well.  Do it early so that they don’t know any other way to eat but healthy.  Money works the same way.  A little, consistently invested over a long time has a long time to grow into something substantial.

Of course, it’s never to late to start doing the right thing.  The best time to plant an oak tree is 25 years ago.  The second best time is today.

What are you putting off starting?
