What Do You Notice?

I’ve noticed that the healthiest people are the people who know themselves and have the greatest self awareness.  As I’ve previously written healthy people are growing people.  Here are some questions you may want to ponder to help initiate growth.

 

Am I happy?

Why not?

What would it take to change that?

Why don’t I change?

What would have to happen for me to change that?

Am I the kind of person I want to be?

What is really important to me?

Am I living in a way that is consistent with what I say is important?

How is my marriage?

What could I do to make that better?

What do I fear?

What would have to happen to get past that?

 

The list is endless but you get the idea.  You might enjoy a devotional book by Frederick Buechner called “Listening to Your Life”.
