What Do You Want to Change?

What would you like to change about your life this year?  What one thing is causing you grief or stress?  What have you always wanted to do but have always put off until later?  Make this the year you do something about it!  Make room in your life to do the things that are important to you.  Live simpler.

I mentioned the book “The One Thing” in a previous post and after reading it through a couple times, strongly recommend you get it.  The principles and advice are so practical you wonder why you didn’t write the book yourself!  With regard to success, the authors rightly point out that success is sequential.  That is, it happens as a result of doing one right thing after another until you achieve your goal.  To that end, you may want to create some new habits.  They recommend only focusing on one new habit at a time and sticking with it until it actually becomes a habit.  Guess how long that takes.  Twenty one days?  No, the average is over two months, 66 days.  So give yourself the best chance to succeed, focus only on that new habit and allow plenty of time for it to become ingrained.

I’d love to hear what you’re changing this year.
